Reality TV fans more likely to use tanning beds
Wed Feb 20, 2013
I'd bet dollars to donuts that watching these shows and tanning also correlate with a lower IQ and fake boobs. Lets all say it together. CORELLATION DOES NOT IMPLY CAUSATION.
Fierce debate after Newtown school shootings: Where was God?
Tue Dec 18, 2012
Look, I hate to acknowledge this, but the whole thing was my fault. Last Friday morning I begged God to help Notre Dame beat Alabama in the BCS championship game. Have you seen Alabama's defense? They're amazing.
House GOP: 'Stalemate' over fiscal cliff; not interested in 'rope-a-dope'
Fri Nov 30, 2012
Ask Greece how borrowing more money than you could ever possibly pay back worked for them. Ask the Greeks how staking your retirement on a government promise that has no mathematical chance of being delivered worked for them. No, really ask them, because that is where the US is headed.
Obama presses Congress to extend middle-class tax cuts
Fri Nov 30, 2012
Yes, pass the tax cut extension for the 98%. Then we can negotiate on tax rates for 250k and up. I promise, even though the 250k rates will return to the Clinton levels which is where I want them to be and no action at all will be required of me and my fellow Dems to keep these rates there.
White House 'surprised' by GOP 'surprise'
Fri Nov 30, 2012
Sounds good to me. Looks like we can cover 1 thru 3 and most of 4. After that we got no more money to spend. Should we fire all non defense federal employees?
GOP dismisses White House initial offer as 'unbalanced,' 'unreasonable'
Thu Nov 29, 2012
If the choice is between going over the fiscal cliff now and kicking the can indefinitely (Obama's plan as best I can tell) until we face a sovereign debt crisis, out of control inflation, dollar devaluation and certain global depression, I'll choose the fiscal cliff. But, that's just me.
Boehner 'disappointed' by lack of 'substantive progress' on fiscal cliff talks
Thu Nov 29, 2012
From what CNN just reported, Obama's offer includes $1.6T (10 years) in tax increases on the wealthy, $400B (10 years) in medicare cuts and $50B in stimulus spending (2013).
Federal government releases long-awaited health reform rules
Tue Nov 20, 2012
Healthy 21 year old males who legitimately only need about $200 worth of healthcare each year........... consider yourselves officially screwed. You're now on the hook for 25% of the overweight 62 year old diabetic's triple bypass surgery. Ain't socialism grand?
No more Twinkies? Strike may do in Hostess
Wed Nov 14, 2012
The Twinkees will survive. I'm sure the brands are the most valuable asset that the company now posesses. They'll probably be indistinguishable from the Twinkees sold today. May be even a bit cheaper, in order to compete with Little Debbie's snacks.
Obama sticks to guns on tax increase for wealthiest Americans
Fri Nov 9, 2012
Not so long as Helicopter Ben is in charge of the fed. He'll just keep printing and Obama will never run out.

Should pediatricians 'fire' unvaccinated patients?
Yes
Smallpox continued to ravage Europe, Asia, and Africa for centuries. In Europe, near the end of the eighteenth century, the disease accounted for nearly 400,000 deaths each year, including five kings. Of those surviving, one-third were blinded. The worldwide death toll was staggering and continued w …
Humans evolved in an age without science and medicine. It wasn't pretty and life expectancy was perhaps 35 years.
If everyone felt the way that you do, then we'd have a small pox epidemic on our hands. You should be thankful that you live in a society of people who look out for one another's needs and not just their own. Vaccines are done for the common good, not for the good of the individual.
